PORELLE® MEMBRANES.

Waterproof and breathable, the Porelle® membrane that DexShell uses has Water Vapour Permeability (WVP) index 15,000 g/m2.day ASTM E96:95. The membrane is also resistant to a range of chemicals and weak acids, and passed the viral penetration test ISO 16604 made by Nelson Labs.

Porelle membranes are manufactured by PIL Membranes Ltd with over 40 years’ experience in the marketplace. Porelle® is the registered trademark of KL Technologies Group Limited.

REPREVE® RECYCLED
YARNS.

REPREVE® is the world’s No.1 brand of recycled performance fiber. REPREVE‘s high-quality fibers are made from 100% recycled materials, including post-consumer plastic bottles and pre-consumer waste. They are also certified and traceable. The REPREVE® brand was created to foster a sustainable world by diverting plastic bottles-billions of them-from landfills and oceans. PRIMALOFT® INSULATION.

PrimaLoft® is an advanced material science company, who has nearly 40 years’ experience in developing high-performance materials like insulations and performance fabrics. The Cross Core™ technology fuses multiple PrimaLoft technologies to create next-level comfort and performance. PrimaLoft® have combined best-in-class insulation fibers with its original Aerogel technology to reach levels of lightweight warmth previously achieved only by down. The Primaloft® Cross Core Gold series improve Cross Core™ performance by fully synthetic insulation, keep warm even when wet, and protect in extreme condition.

MERINO WOOL.

Warm, breathable, moisture repellent and anti-static, Merino has the capacity to deal with moisture like no other yarns, absorbing perspiration and releasing it into the air as vapor. It is naturally odor resistant too. Luxuriously soft and gentle against the skin, it reacts to your body’s temperature, keeping you warm when it’s cold and releasing body heat and moisture when it’s hot. The natural elasticity and resilience of Merino wool enables it to spring back into shape with ease. 

DexShell only purchase and use merino wool that is guaranteed mulesing free.

COOLMAX® YARNS.

COOLMAX® is the performance yarn that includes an effective fiber based moisture management system. The system can move perspiration away from the body, through the fabric, and transfer out of the wear. It can evaporate quickly, allowing the wearer to feel cooler and much more comfortable.

DRIRELEASE® TECHNOLOGY.

drirelease® technology uses an engineered blend of multi-denier, multi-staple length hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers to keep wearers dry, cool and comfortable. The unique blend of synthetic and natural fibers in drirelease® yarn actually accelerates the water release rate. The drirelease® WOOL blend is as warm as 100% wool without the itch. The wearer never feels clammy against the skin.
