I bought these for our trip to Iceland last year. But was a little skeptical that a woven glove could truly be waterproof. We needed super warm gloves in addition to the waterproof feature. Lemme tell ya - These gloves are amazing! We went directly under a couple of waterfalls with rain gear and these gloves. The gloves were soaked! But our hands stayed dry and warm. Seriously! I couldn’t believe it. You can dunk your hands into a bucket of water and though the fabric soaks up the water, the membrane in them keeps your hands dry. Highly recommended for cold, wet conditions!

These gloves are a must-have for any winter survival kit. They really, truly are waterproof! I have a lot of animals I have to take care of, and water freezes over every night, so I have to remove the ice from the water bowls. I stuck my gloved hand straight into the ice water and lifted the ice cap right out, with nary a drop of water touching my hands! I also waited to see if the water would soak into the gloves. It did not. My hands stayed dry the entire time!
Not only are they waterproof, but they're also comfortable. It's hard to describe the material- kind of like a ribbed lycra material: stretchy but retains its shape. And yes, it does work on your phone!

These are really warm, and hold up well in chilly Portland rain. I got them for wearing outside hiking or bike riding. My hands stay nice and cozy and the fit is perfect for me. Would definitely recommend.
