A great weatherproof thermal hat.

Got this for the cold mornings as my trusted winter woollen hat had started to get a little thread bare after many years. It is nice, fits well, keeps my head dry, and is warm. Overall, really impressed with this hat.

Good stuff, but noisy

Initial thoughts on the item were, it looks good, it's warm and certainly windproof, but I feel I need to knock one star off for two reasons. The membrane means it'll be waterproof and windproof, but it does make a rustling sound when being handled or put on. It is okay when on, but I was a little surprised to have a hat which rustles so much. The other issue arose when removing the hat after a walk today, the hat kind of turned itself inside out and looked more like a football than a hat when the fleece liner dropped down from the hat! It hadn't become separated, just not fixed to the outer sufficiently and this is a minor niggle, but for the cost the two issues mean 4* and not 5*
